These are nice videos and as you mentioned, Twitter has this dark side that is kind of unsettling. For some reason (maybe it's for the best), in Eastern Europe Twitter is not popular. None of my friends back home use it. I use it only to store nice articles to get back to them when I have time. But in this part of the world, Twitter has its power, it had its power in the Arab Spring events and stuff. But in everyday life that trolling effect is what predominates. Sad. I'm glad I don't use it as much.
ReplyDeleteIt is unsettling that people use the anonymity of the Internet to post hurtful things. This is exactly why we need to educate the next generation on responsible use of technology. I don't want this to become the norm. We as a society are (or at least should be) better than this.
